Feminism and Prejudice

Video art presented at the 'Tikkun Chatzot' exhibition, 2021

A video I created for the 'Tikkun Chatzot' exhibition, inspired by a Poetry Slam by Yael Hetz. The rationale behind this work is to illuminate the importance of daily acts of feminism. Many people disapprove of feminism due to prejudices and incorrect branding of the movement. My goal here is to present feminism differently and evoke empathy.

The exhibition was stationed at the ‘Social Hub’ (formerly, the ‘Pussycat’ Club), which served for years as a strip club. It sought to shine a light on a place previously dominated by darkness. All the departments of Visual Communications Design from different academies in Israel took part.
